MillenniBOND™ Crucibles

MillenniBOND™ crucibles are designed primarily for air and vacuum induction melting of superalloys.  MillenniTEK’s innovative manufacturing process ensures precise dimensional accuracy and near-net shape crucibles.  The MillenniBOND™ line of composite crucibles are alumina with an integral magnesia partially stabilized zirconia (MgO-PSZ) inside surface layer (the molten alloy contact surface).  Investment casters now have the opportunity to replace costly monolithic MgO-PSZ crucibles with lower cost composite crucibles exhibiting the same non-wetting characteristics as monolithic MgO-PSZ crucibles.
